Mom's Menu! Week of HEALTHY Meal Planning for 6! | Feb 6-11

Wow, guys, I'm keeping up with this, aren't I? haha

(Ironically, I have found that leaving my personal FB page for awhile seems to free my creative juices and has me wanting to stay up-to-date on my posts! So there ya go. I know some of you miss me on FB but I have found so much more peace and happiness without it.)

I'm still sticking with a fairly healthy meal plan...trying to cut down on processed junk and eating more whole real foods. Obviously, I'm not doing 100% whole foods but I do have to admit that it's pretty good for a large family!

I've been having problems with Walmart's new Pick Up option where you order your groceries online and then pick them up at the store. It sounded perfect, in theory: you don't actually even have to get out of your car! They bring your groceries out to you and load them into your trunk! For FREE! Buuut...I'm a bit of a foodie (amateur status) and can be pretty picky when it comes to "substitutions" and whatnot. And the more I ordered from Walmart (I've been ordering my groceries online for almost a year!), the more they seemed to screw up my order. And their produce selection was paltry, at best. I just couldn't stand it anymore. Now I just order my paper goods, dairy and canned goods from them but the bulk of my groceries (produce) I go shopping for at the Farmers Market. And that is working out fantastically in terms of my getting amazing produce selection at great prices.

If you want to check out my Farmers Market haul, here ya go!

Now, what you've all come here for!! ::wink:: This week's meal plan!!

(quick summary for new readers: Our family consists of me, my husband and our 4 I am pregnant with #5. I homeschool my kiddos, so they are here for every meal. I try to make Breakfast and Lunch fairly simple grab-n-go fare most days.)

Most dinners will include a recipe link, so if you click on it, you'll be taken to the recipe page!

Vanilla Greek Yogurt with Grapes
Overnight Oats with Raw Honey and Fresh banana

Mama will usually have either a coffee or a smoothie

(little boys get to "pick 3" and big kids get to "pick 4" from the list for lunch each day. One item for afternoon snack)

Fruit cups

Cherry tomatoes

Carrot sticks (with Ranch)

Mini pretzels

Scoop of organic PB

Yogurt cup

Dinner leftovers

Mama just bought herself a new juicer, ya'll! So I am planning on making myself some huge green juices this week!! (Kale, Spinach, Carrot, Apple, Cucumber) And maybe even some fresh pineapple juice!! Yummm!!!

with Italian bread
(so sue me...I'm doing weird food combos hahaha)

with baked potato slices

(gotta trek my big pregnant butt up to the storage barn where my deep freeze is...)

Pesto Whole Grain Spaghetti
with mixed greens salad

Aaaaand a date night somewhere in there!

And that is this week's meal plan!!

Do you make weekly meal plans??

If not, how do you decide what to make each day??

Let me know in the comments or over on FB!!

Love ya'll!! xoxo
