So I have been religiously faithful to this whole lemon thing.
And, when I am able to use it thoroughly, it works GREAT and I love it!
But I have been encountering a problem.
I keep getting an itchy and painful rash under my arm.
Mostly under my left arm but a little bit under my right too.
I don't know if it's from putting the lemon juice on right after shaving?
But what am I supposed to use after my shower if I can't use the lemon?
I need something!
This is Georgia, after all... I don't want someone *smelling* me coming from a mile away...
Because I love this lemon method so much and really don't want to give it up, I have been researching my options on how to deal with this rash. The lemon juice makes it burn so. freaking. bad.
I have found one suggestion for this exact problem: apply the lemon juice thoroughly. Let it dry completely for 20-30 minutes. Then wash the lemon juice off with soap and water.
I am wondering if I can put the juice on, let it dry, then just take my shower and shave?
I'm going to give this a try and see if that works... I'll let you guys know!
For those of you who are using lemons or limes as deodorant, did you ever have a problem with getting rashes from it? If so, how did you deal with it to stop the rashes?
