Menu Monday (wk of March 3rd)

I've been finding myself in a pickle. I've been trying to deflate my grocery bill, cut calories, add protein and try to simplify some recipes a bit because...well, four kids & a kickass fitness session can suck the life out of a person some days! There is nothing worse than being dog-tired and not having the energy to stand for a couple of hours over a hot stove, now a couple of days this week (and last) it's been "hello, slow cooker recipes!" LOL

For my new readers, if any of you are parents, I want to point out that my 2 oldest kids also follow this menu completely. My youngest 2 follow the Breakfasts and Dinners & most of the Lunches, but sometimes they just want a peanut butter sandwich. They are toddlers, after all. ;-)


Breakfast: Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothies

Lunch: BLTs (with a cooked egg white added for protein)

Dinner: Cheese Stuffed Shells with garden salad


Breakfast: Freshly made Apple Juice & fried (in a pan spritzed with EVOO) egg whites

Lunch: Strawberry milk"shakes" & egg salad

Dinner: Chicken Tacos (slow cooker) with corn on the cob


Breakfast: Strawberry Oatmeal Smoothies

Lunch: Green Juice & chicken salad

Dinner: South-of-the-Border Pie with from-scratch breadsticks


Breakfast: fresh Orange Juice & eggs

Lunch: Banana Milk and BLTs (with egg white)

Dinner: Meatball Mushroom Soup (slow cooker recipe) & grilled cheese sandwiches


Breakfast: Peanut Butter Oatmeal Smoothies

Lunch: Green Juice and egg salad

Dinner: Pizza
